PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Base oils are polymers or oligomers obtained by synthesis from various monomers. No synthetic oil has the full range of properties found in mineral oil, but some synthetic oils have some outstanding performance properties that exceed those of mineral oils. For example, some synthetic oils have a particularly high viscosity index, low solidification temperature, increased resistance to high temperatures and shear deformations, and are characterized by low volatility and flammability. These properties provide versatility of use and a long service life. Each synthetic oil must be used in conditions that allow the best use of its distinctive features.
