PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Colorless or transparent crystals of a rhombic shape or white crystalline powder, odorless, with a strong sour taste. It occurs in a free state in nature as a component of many berries, citrus fruits, needles and tobacco leaves.
USE CASES
It is widely used in the pharmaceutical and food industries, primarily as a buffer substance (0.1–2.0%) for pH regulation, as well as an antioxidant, flavor corrector (0.3–2.0%) and acidifying agent. K.L.M. is a non-toxic and non-irritating substance. Increases aluminum absorption, and when used in high concentrations damages tooth enamel.
