PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Dextrose C6H12O6 is an important monosaccharide; colorless crystals with a sweet taste, easily dissolve in water. It is found in grape juice, in many fruits, as well as in the blood of animals and people. Dextrose is obtained by hydrolysis of starch and cellulose polysaccharides (under the action of enzymes or mineral acids). Poorly soluble in organic solvents. Not an electrolyte.
USE CASES
It is used as a means of enhanced nutrition or as a medicinal substance in fabric processing.
