Diethylene glycol is a representative of glycols, a colorless or yellowish transparent liquid. It is used in the chemical industry (in organic synthesis, in the production of polyurethanes and resins from unsaturated esters, in the production of plasticizers), gas production (as a drying agent for removing hydrate plugs), oil refining (as a solvent for the extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons).

as an intermediate product in the production of 1,4-dioxane, tetraethylene glycol, morpholine and other products;

– as a raw material in the production of esters, polyurethanes, oligoether acrylates, polyalkylene glycol maleinates;

– as an intermediate compound for the synthesis of pharmacological preparations;
