Glycol mixture GB08 is a mixture of various aliphatic glycols and alcoholates, which have proven effective in the composition of various modifiers of concrete and construction chemistry in general. Mixtures of glycols are important components for many industries due to the physical property of this chemical class of substances – the low freezing point of solvents. The presence of a high content of potassium hydroxide in this product gives specific properties to this mixture due to the strongly alkaline hydrogen index (pH) – a value that shows the degree of activity of hydrogen ions (H+). Such a high indicator in addition to the low freezing temperature of solvents is effective for wide use in construction chemistry.
